from the kitchen of a. is two!!!

year two and i’m showing up fashionably late, as i usually do.

year two was officially completed in july… it has been nonstop, fulfilling and beautiful. with that said, it’s also been extremely busy, chaotic and full of never-ending movement.

let’s do a short recap:

  • we soft launched markets in october of 2025 and did two in november. that’s it.

  • hard launched into markets in 2026

  • joined markets out in austin

  • launched our own market in may of 2026… after thinking about it for months

  • gained more confidence

  • celebrated one year in the store that means so much to us!

  • joined a storefront

  • joined a second storefront

  • joined a third & fourth, but ultimately, they just weren’t the right fit

  • added new products

  • stayed true to my morals & principles

  • protected my mental health

  • revamped our pricing, labels and more!

  • redid the website without changing the roots

  • so much more behind-the-scenes work that i won’t bore you with!

year two of from the kitchen of a. was more than i could have asked for. website sales slowed down, but being able to connect with y’all in person is my preferred method! to see some of y’all visiting me from out of town, different cities, bringing new friends, REPEATEDLY?! y’all know how to make a gal feel special. to hear the testimonies of what my products do for you is all i could ever ask for. they mean so much to me and help others learn.

i know it’s been a few months since july… if you’ve been following along, we’ve been extra packed on the schedule. we launched the cozy kitchen market in two cities right off the bat and then added another. while some of those chapters are closed, that doesn’t mean they are closed forever… cue back to there being so much going on behind the scenes.

from the kitchen of a. has been whipping up a few new products, such as our chai tea and new hot cocoa blend. i’ve also been working on a few other ideas.

overall, i’m so grateful for this year. regardless of me being extremely late on this blog, i cannot put into words how much love i have for this business, my people and the support that is received.

going into year three, you can expect:

  • the roots growing stronger

  • more markets

  • new cities

  • maybe more storefronts

  • new labels

  • new products

  • the same love

thank y’all for rocking with me & let’s do this!
